Saturday Evening - Restorative yoga: honour your noble tiredness with Saffron
Slow down, connect to your breath and find a moment of peace.
Restorative yoga is a gentle practice that focuses on the body& its ability to release tension without the need for strength or dynamic movement.
Expect to get super cosy, using props and cushions to create support we allow gravity to assist us in the process of unraveling tension in our bodies and letting go.
Through guided breath work and simple self enquiry this practice is an invitation to be still and to arrive fully in your body. It is an opportunity to relearn the art of rest and relaxation.
Space to press pause, to move away from the human doing and come back to the human being, this class aims to quiet the busy mind and down regulate the nervous system.
This class is suitable for anyone that can sit comfortably on a yoga mat and that can get up from the floor unassisted.
Things to bring/materials required: All yoga equipment will be provided but please bring as many snuggly items
as you can to get cozy and comfortable, (a pillows and/or cushions, blankets and warm layers, including socks).

Biography
Saffron is a 700hr certified yoga teacher who describes her teaching style as playful, compassionate and relatable. She has trained in multiple styles of yoga such as vinyasa flow, yin and restorative yoga.
With an emphasis on joyful movement, slowing down and most importantly connecting to the breath, Saffron passionately believes in the therapeutic use of all aspects of yoga as a tool for managing dis- ease within the body and supporting the
nervous system.
Moving away from rigid alignment rules, her classes are layered with option and choice so each student can find stability and freedom in their bodies and meet themselves where they are.
“My mission is to spread the message of self acceptance and empowerment in every lesson I teach. I strive to create the space for each student to tune in and explore their incredible bodies in a fun, non judgemental and non performative way.”
