Friday Evening - Restorative Yoga & Ceremonial Cacao - A time to Soften, Rest & Reconnect with Virginia

Summer invites us outward.

Long sunny days. Time away. Festivals, gatherings, laughter, late evenings, adventures, swimming, travelling, being outside and simply enjoying the warmth and abundance of the season.

And then September arrives.

The days begin to soften, routines return and the energy of the year starts to turn inward. After all that doing, experiencing and being out in the world, we may find ourselves needing something very simple:

Time to rest.

Time to pause.

Time to gently transition from the expansiveness of summer into the quieter rhythm of autumn.

Sometimes we don't need another thing to do.

We need a moment to stop.

To put down the lists, the expectations, the constant thinking and the feeling that we should always be moving towards something.

This afternoon is an invitation to do exactly that.

We begin with a gentle restorative yoga practice, using supported postures, cushions and blankets to allow the body to slowly release tension and settle into rest. There is no pushing, stretching or striving. You don't need to be flexible or have any previous yoga experience.

From this place of stillness, we move into a ceremonial cacao experience.

Cacao has been used ceremonially for generations as a plant ally for connection, presence and reflection. We will share the cacao slowly and mindfully, allowing the transition from physical rest into a quieter, more inward space.

There is nowhere you need to get to.

Nothing you need to achieve.

Just an opportunity to pause, breathe, feel and listen.

Perhaps you are tired.
Perhaps you have been carrying too much.
Perhaps you simply want a few hours where nobody needs anything from you.

Come as you are.

This is a small, intimate gathering created as a space for rest, connection and gentle reconnection with yourself.

What the session includes:

  • gentle restorative yoga

  • supported relaxation

  • ceremonial cacao

  • guided meditation and quiet reflection

  • grounding and integration

  • nourishing snacks

  • a small, intimate group space

What to bring: Please bring whatever will help you feel warm and comfortable:

  • yoga mat

  • blanket

  • cushion or bolster, if you have one

  • comfortable, warm clothing

  • water bottle

  • crystals or a meaningful object for the altar (optional)

No previous yoga, meditation or cacao experience is needed.

You don't need to be flexible.
You don't need to know how to meditate.
You don't need to know what to expect.

Just come with an open mind and allow yourself to rest.

Time: 6 - 8.30 pm

Cost: £35

Biography

Virginia is the founder of the sacred nomad.earth, a project exploring inner and outer journeys — from intimate ceremonial spaces to pilgrimages through mythic landscapes around the world.

Her work creates small, heart-led spaces for rest, connection, reflection and shared presence, guided by the seasons, symbolism and natural rhythms.

Having recently moved to Frome, she is delighted to offer intimate gatherings where people can step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with themselves, with others and with the quieter rhythms within.

Saturday Afternoon - Solstice Shamanic Journey with Cacao - Portal Activation with Virginia Parades

Saturday Afternoon - Solstice Shamanic Journey with Cacao - Portal Activation with Virginia Parades

For thousands of years, people have gathered during solstices and equinoxes to honour the turning of the seasons, the power of the sun, and our own spiral path through life.

On the Summer Solstice, when light reaches its peak, a portal opens: a threshold between what has been and what is ready to emerge.

Together, we gather to honour this moment through ceremonial cacao and a gentle guided shamanic journey — a space to unravel, reflect, release what no longer serves, and create space for new beginnings.

In this intimate group setting, we begin with ceremonial cacao to softly open the body and heart. From there, you will be guided into a shamanic journey: an inner exploration where images, sensations and symbols may arise, offering insight, clarity and connection to your inner world.

This is a space to pause.
To soften.
To listen.
To reconnect...

With the wisdom already within you.

This cacao and shamanic journey session forms part of the Summer Solstice Pilgrimage event. If you are curious about the full Summer Solstice Pilgrimage, feel free to enquire.

No previous experience is needed.
Only openness, curiosity and a willingness to journey.

What the session includes:

  • ceremonial cacao

  • guided shamanic journey

  • grounding and integration with nourishing snacks

  • small intimate group space

What to bring:

Whatever you need to make lying down comfortable:

  • a yoga mat to lie on

  • a blanket and cushion

  • water bottle

  • crystals or meaningful objects for the altar (optional)

Monday afternoon - Nourish & Bloom: A Rose Womb afternoon for women with Amiya Pilar

This is a space for women to slow down and come home to themselves.

Through somatic practices, embodied movement, guided visualisation, and the medicine of the rose, you will be invited to soften your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and connect with the wisdom of the womb space.

This gathering is open to all women, with or without a physical womb. We will be exploring the womb as an energetic and sacred centre, a space of intuition, creativity, feeling, and inner knowing.

Guided by the rose, an ancient symbol of the feminine, strength and beauty.

This afternoon is not about doing more. It is about receiving more of yourself. Come ready to bloom, as nature herself moves towards her fullest expression at the summer solstice.
