Sunday Morning - Zen Flow, Mindful Moments: Meditative Yoga Practice & Authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony with Yuka Krantz & Yukie Williams

Join us for a unique workshop designed to prepare your body for comfortable meditation and increase your mental focus, culminating in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. This one-hour yoga session begins with gentle, uplifting postures, breathwork, and a guided meditation to promote mental clarity and tranquillity. The session is accessible to all age groups, and chairs are available on site for those who need them.

The Japanese tea ceremony is a ritualistic preparation and presentation of matcha, where the simple act of drinking tea becomes a nuanced and beautiful expression of art, culture, and spirituality. It weaves together mindfulness, hospitality, aesthetics and philosophy, creating a shared moment of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquillity. These principles, known as "wa" (harmony), "kei" (respect), "sei" (purity) and "jaku" (tranquility), embody the essence of this ancient tradition.

In a serene setting, you'll be seated comfortably in a chair, eliminating any concerns about sitting on the floor. The experience includes a serving of traditional Japanese matcha tea, accompanied by a sweet treat, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the elegance of the authentic Japanese tea ceremony. Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience the beauty of this age old tradition, right in the heart of Frome.
