Wednesday evening - The Men’s Circle with Vaughan Dagnell

Wednesday evening - The Men’s Circle with Vaughan Dagnell

A space where men can speak openly, explore what lies behind the masks we wear in day to day life, and connect with other men in a healthy ways.

This group is about healthy masculinity, accountability, embracing challenge and creating community.

Sessions will include breathwork, sharing circles, journalling, physical movement and more.

We all need support if we want to shift unhealthy habits, let go of limiting beliefs or break cycles of behaviour. Doing this work alone isn't fun, and certainly isn't sustainable.

Despite our best efforts things can go wrong, life throws us curveballs to do with work, health, family and relationship.

Our ego's often hide isolation, overwhelm and uncertainty, but out of sight is not out of mind, and without due care and consideration this things can be hugely damaging.

Behind every vulnerability lies a key to new levels of self awareness, inner strength and freedom.

Taking some time for yourself is one of the best gifts you can give to your family, friends and community. It helps us turn up with more capacity and presence, the more you recieve the more you can give.

Preparing For Your Session

As breathwork is part of these session, participants are advised to avoid eating anything heavy or filling for at least 2 hours beforehand. Stay well-hydrated, and drink plenty of water throughout the day beforehand.

I suggest participants wear loose comfortable clothing with no tightness or restriction around the abdomen.

Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, a pillow or cushion and some water to drink. An eye mask is also good, but not essential.

While breathwork can benefit many individuals, there are certain conditions where caution or avoidance may be necessary. Please be aware that the following conditions are contraindicated for Conscious Connected Breathing:

1. History of seizures or epilepsy

2. First Trimester of Pregnancy, and when trying to conceive

3. Detached retina or any eye condition which can be adversely affected by changes in internal pressure.

By signing up for breathwork sessions, participants confirm they do not have any of the conditions mentioned above and release me from any liability related to your participation.
