Wednesday Afternoon- Yoga for over 50s – Future Proof your health with Sarah Reynolds

Wednesday Afternoon- Yoga for over 50s – Future Proof your health with Sarah Reynolds

This accessible, steady and nourishing yoga session is an invitation to honour your body and meet yourself with kindness as we move from the inward energy of winter towards the promise of spring.

It’s a beautiful class where all abilities and levels of experience are warmly welcome.

With thoughtful, age-supportive practices, we’ll explore movement that builds strength, balance and flexibility, helping you feel steady, supple and supported through this rich second chapter of life. The class is designed with care for common considerations such as osteoporosis, RSI and musculoskeletal sensitivities, offering options that respect where your body is today.

Breathwork is woven throughout - sometimes flowing with movement, sometimes explored in stillness - to soothe the nervous system, deepen awareness and encourage ease. We’ll also focus on practices that support better sleep, joint health and muscular resilience.

The session concludes with a deeply restorative relaxation, allowing the body to soften, integrate and replenish. This closing rest is a powerful way to restore energy and support wellbeing during seasonal transitions.

Come as you are - and leave feeling grounded, refreshed and gently future-proofed.

What to bring: Please wear comfortable, warm clothing and bring a yoga mat (spares available), along with a blanket, extra layers or cosy socks. An eye pillow or scarf is also welcome to help you settle fully into the final rest.
