Wednesday Morning - A Mother’s Day Flower Keepsake Workshop with Amanda Cox

Wednesday Morning - A Mother’s Day Flower Keepsake Workshop with Amanda Cox

There is something deeply human about making something beautiful with our hands and offering it to someone we love.

Flowers have always been our quiet language when words feel too small. They hold gratitude, tenderness, memory and celebration. This workshop is an invitation to honour the women who have shaped us - mothers, grandmothers, sisters, friends, mentors - or perhaps to honour yourself.

Together we will create a living floral arrangement nestled inside a soft green keepsake hat box - designed to be treasured long after the flowers have faded. Unlike a bouquet that is unwrapped and dispersed, this piece is composed as a contained garden. Thoughtful. Considered. Portable. A gift that can travel home safely and sit proudly on a table.

You will be guided through the art of composition - how to balance colour, texture and form using seasonal blooms. I will share simple principles that help flowers breathe and create rhythm, so your finished piece feels generous and elegant rather than crowded.

No previous experience is necessary. This is not about perfection - it is about presence. The act of making something by hand folds time and attention into the gift. It says, “I paused for you.”

All flowers and materials are included. You will leave with a finished floral keepsake box ready to gift - or to keep.

Things to bring/materials required: Secateurs and an Apron (optional). All flowers and materials provided.
