Sunday Afternoon - Befriending Your Body - simple embodiment practices to help you feel connected with Emilie Joy Rowell
If you’ve been feeling drained and that life is happening to you rather than the connected and vibrant self that you’d like to be, this session will give you a solid introduction to embodiment practices that can help you reconnect and reclaim that sense of self. If mindfulness is bringing awareness to your thoughts and doing - you could say embodiment is ‘bodyfulness’; bringing awareness to the patterns of sensations & emotions in your body (and what you do with that).
You’re also welcome to join if you've been curious about what embodiment is all about and would like to come and explore for yourself.
This won’t be a workout or a coaching session, it’s an experiential workshop with non-athletic movement for self awareness. It will help you develop greater self awareness and offer you some tools you can take into daily life. No experience is necessary for this session. Embodiment can be playful and curious but can have the capacity to go deep.
"It's rare that I let myself be that vulnerable and open with someone, but I felt safe to do that instantly with Emilie.” - Judith
