Sunday Evening - Harvest & Seeds A Shamanic Journey to Honour Our Harvest & Our Ancestors with Virginia Parades
As the season turns and the harvest is gathered, we are invited to pause and look back at the cycle we have travelled.
Before we move towards what comes next, there is something beautiful in taking the time to recognise what has already ripened within us: the experiences we have lived, the lessons we have gathered, the growth we may not always have noticed, and the moments that have shaped us along the way.
What in your life has ripened?
What has reached its fullness?
What have you learned through this cycle?
What are you carrying forward, and what feels complete enough to be gathered?
Through ceremonial cacao, we will soften into a space of presence and reflection before entering a guided shamanic journey into the landscape of the harvest.
There, we will gather the seeds of what we have lived - choosing what we wish to carry into the season ahead and perhaps discovering a seed we did not know we were carrying.
As we approach Samhain, a time traditionally associated with the ancestors and the thinning of the veil between worlds, we will also turn our attention towards those who came before us.
We will prepare seeds as offerings of gratitude - seeds representing our own harvest, our lives and our becoming - to be placed upon our altars and kept until November 1st, when we will honour and offer them to our ancestors.
What seed are you carrying into the winter?
What would you like to offer in gratitude to those whose lives came before yours?
This is an invitation to celebrate what has been lived, to honour what has ripened, to gather what is precious, and to enter the darker season carrying seeds of possibility.
There is no need to know yet what those seeds will become.
For now, we simply gather them, honour them and allow them to rest in the darkness.
