Tuesday Morning - Motherhood - Exploring the sibling equation with Rowena

The Stories between us, a reflective workshop for mothers on siblings, family roles, and conscious connection

Our earliest experiences of family shape us more deeply than we often realise. Whether we grew up with siblings, without them, or somewhere in between, we each carry quiet stories about belonging, comparison, responsibility, closeness, rivalry, or loneliness. These stories don’t disappear when we become mothers - they subtly inform how we see our children, how we interpret their relationships, and how we respond to moments of harmony or tension.

This gentle, guided workshop offers mothers a supportive space to explore the stories formed in their own upbringing around siblings and family roles - and how those narratives may still be influencing them today.

Together, we’ll reflect on questions such as:

  • What did my place in my family teach me about myself?

  • What beliefs did I form about siblings, attention, fairness, or love?

  • How might these beliefs be shaping the way I see my children and their experiences?

From there, we’ll turn our attention to our children - whether they have siblings or are growing up as only children — and explore what they may be experiencing beneath the surface. Rather than trying to “fix” dynamics, this workshop invites curiosity, compassion, and perspective.

You’ll be guided to:

  • Gently uncover inherited stories and patterns without blame or judgement

  • Deepen understanding of sibling dynamics (or the experience of being an only child)

  • Explore how to support each child’s sense of belonging, security, and self-worth

  • Cultivate more harmony, joy, and emotional safety within your family

  • Reconnect with your own intuition as a mother

This is not a parenting “how-to” or a space for comparison. It is a reflective, human space - one that honours complexity, individuality, and the reality that every family looks and feels different.

You’ll leave with greater clarity, softer awareness, and practical insights you can carry into everyday family life - supporting both your children and yourself to thrive.

All mothers are welcome, wherever you are on your parenting journey

Biography

Hi, I’m Rowena.

Motherhood is my life’s work. Shaped by raising my own three children and by walking alongside women as a pregnancy, birth, and motherhood mentor, I am passionate about supporting women to reconnect with their inner wisdom as they move through matrescence.

My work is rooted in lived experience, deep listening, and the understanding that motherhood is not something to be mastered, but something to be felt, explored, and honoured. I hold space for women to gently unpack the stories they carry, trust their intuition, and make empowered, embodied choices that feel right for them and their families.

I believe that when mothers are supported - emotionally, energetically, and practically - families thrive. My approach is holistic, compassionate, and non-judgemental, meeting each woman exactly where she is on her journey.
