Tuesday Morning - Time for You. A post-baby re-set workshop for mamas of all ages + stages with Laurie Pyne
Join us for 1.5 hours of candid chat, simple, restorative moves you can do at home, and a humorous, practical approach to post-baby living.
Using gentle moves drawn from Pilates and Natural Movement, we will check out ways of easing shoulder and neck pain, restoring your natural posture, and reconnecting with your deep abdominals in a gentle, effective way.
All moves should be diastasis- and C-section friendly
And of course we’ll talk about vaginas, and ways of re-discovering that sometimes elusive pelvic floor as well!
I will be led by your concerns and wishes, in a direct and compassionate way, so that our time
together is focused on whatever you need to re-set your next-stage body and mind. 🦋
Things to bring/materials required : Yoga mat or similar (I’ll provide cushioned under-mats)
small cushion for your head

Biography
I’ve been sharing Pilates with women and men of all ages for 30 years, alongside yoga, Natural Movement (basic level) and expressive dance at various times.
I’m really interested in function rather than fashion; ie, how we use our bodies in our daily lives, and how we can keep them strong and mobile as we face life’s challenges such as childbirth, menopause, and the different demands that work and family life place on these amazing and (usually) resilient systems.
I’ve also worked as a performance coach with different types of athletes, musicians, riders, and dancers, all of which have kept me learning in the field, and who continue to inform my approach and methodology.
