Wednesday Afternoon- Yoga for over 50s – Future Proof your health this winter with Sarah Reynolds
All abilities and experience welcome
Please come along to this winter yoga class to enhance your health and well-being and to develop strength, flexibility and balance. Practises are selected to support our bodies and minds as we move into this second stage of our lives. This includes practises to improve the quality of sleep, strengthen muscles and maintain flexibility in joints, while considering conditions such as osteoporosis, RSI and muscular skeletal issues that we may develop through life. The class will also include natural breathing practises alongside the movements or as part of seated or lying practice. And finally developing the body’s ability to enjoy and heal through a regular practice of deep rest at the end of each class. This is great tool for managing during the winter months.
What to bring: Please wear comfortable, warm clothes and bring a yoga mat, (I will have spares) and a warm blanket and/or extra jumper and socks; eye pillow or scarf to use to make yourself comfortable for the final relaxation practice.
