Wednesday morning - Summer Solstice Flower Crown Workshop with Amanda Cox British Master Florist
Celebrate the arrival of midsummer by creating your own beautiful seasonal flower crown using fresh flowers, foliage and traditional floristry techniques.
In this relaxed and welcoming workshop, Amanda will guide you step-by-step through the process of wiring and taping flowers to create a wearable crown designed to honour the Summer Solstice, a moment long associated with light, abundance, nature and celebration.
Using a thoughtfully chosen palette of seasonal blooms and textured foliage, you will create a crown that feels both natural and romantic, whether worn traditionally, across the forehead, or styled more like a floral headband.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those wishing to deepen their confidence with floral mechanics.
Come and spend a gentle creative morning immersed in flowers, conversation and the beauty of the season.
Amanda Cox is a florist, creative practitioner and former floristry tutor with over 30 years of experience working with flowers, seasonal materials and nature-led creativity.
Having trained and taught professional floristry for many years, Amanda now combines traditional floral techniques with a gentler, more intuitive approach inspired by the changing seasons, British gardens and the restorative connection between creativity and wellbeing.
